Solo Assassination:
Your army can ONLY have 1 Unique Hero. That hero must cost at least 100pts or more.
Win condition -
1) Destroy your opponents only unique hero
2) Destroy your opponents entire army
3) Have the most points (partial cards scoring) left on your "Unique Hero" IF - and only if - your game goes to time.
ex. The game is over and goes to time. You still have several squads left and your Q9 has 2 wounds. Disregarding the squads...your point value is 90pts (45pts per life). Your opponent only has Agent Carr left in his army, but unwounded at 100pts (25pts per life). Your opponent Wins.
Your mission...to assassinate the opponents hero. If you've failed, the Hero with the "greatest value" wins the day!
***RULE CLARIFICATIONS***
Airborne Elite:
You cannot drop Round 1. You can only roll for the Drop starting Round 2.
Mindshackle/Acolytes/Soul Devour:
Each Players' Hero MUST be on the battlefield under their control at the end of a round or they suffer a forfeit.

It's simple. Build an army that does not contain any units with the 'Human' species. AoA units are allowed.

Format: SELECTAGLYPH
500pts/18figures (NO VC, NO Marvel, Announced AoA allowed)
Before the beginning of each game, you and your opponent will each secretly select:
1) a power glyph to use on the map and
2) a Treasure glyph to add to the map
At the same time, players will reveal which glyphs they've selected to be used. Glyphs may be the same.
After revealing the glyph selection...players will dice-off for placement. Winner can place first or defer. Place your whole army AND your glyphs. Power glyphs will go in the predetermined power glyph spot, and treasure glyphs must be within 3 spaces of another power glyph OR directly in the center of the map. During the game, either player may take/activate any of the glyphs.
Glyphs must be selected from the established CCL Pool of Glyphs (see Glyphs thread for reference).
***TREASURE GLYPH rule adjustment. Roll for the trap as usual...but even if you fail the roll (and receive 1 wound), you'll still get to pick up the treasure glyph***

VC and Released AoA Allowed
Each Player builds a 550pt CORE Army for the event. They also build a 200pt RESERVES army. At the beginning of each game, before placing armies...each player secretly decides whether or not they want to switch out any of their core army with their Reserves units. The CORE army must still be within the point and figure requirements after any potential switches. The Reserves army does NOT after any potential switches. Players may switch out as many points/figures as they'd like from the core army and replace it with the Reserve army units. Once decided, players reveal their decision and then dice off as normal for placement. Squads can only be switched for their full cost (not per figure cost), but you will be allowed to sit figures if switching the squad causes you to go over the figure limit in your CORE army.
SWISS BRACKET:
Players will play all 4 rounds of the event, BUT 1st round pairings will follow the Seeded Bracket matchups based on the Ranking of Season 1 finishers and auto-bids. Each round Winners will be pairing following the brackets schedule while losers will be randomly paired with someone else with the same record. Losers are not required to play in future rounds.
MAPS:
6 in the Pool, all previously used in prior Qualifiers during Season 2.
There will be a MAP BAN allowed for the Semis and the Finals. This will occur LIVE between the Tournament Director and the players prior to publishing the round pairings. Higher Seed bans 1 map, lower seed bans 2, higher seed bans 1. Tournament Director will roll D20 to determine which of the final 2 maps are played on.
